Pushing The Limits - Katie McGarry : REVIEW

Title: Pushing The Limits
Author: Katie McGarry
Series or Standalone: Companion Series
Genre: Young Adult
Format: Paperback

Publication Date: August 3rd 2012

Goodreads Summary:
What if the last person you should fall in love with is only one who can save you? I won't tell anyone, Echo. I promise. Noah tucked a curl behind my ear. It had been so long since someone touched me like he did. Why did it have to be Noah Hutchins? His dark brown eyes shifted to my covered arms. You didn't do that - did you. It was done to you?
My Review :
I went into this book thinking it was going to be like every "Bad boy meets good girl" book and it kind of was, but it had a few stronger aspects included. I actually quite like this genre, but I honestly didn't expect too much from it. This book had some tough topics throughout it and I thought Katie dealt with perfectly. Series or Standalone: Standalone
Genre: Young-Adult Fiction
Format: Paperback

Publication Date: February 26th 2013

Goodreads Summary: Eleanor... Red hair, wrong clothes. Standing behind him until he turns his head. Lying beside him until he wakes up. Making everyone else seem drabber and flatter and never good enough...Eleanor.
Park... He knows she'll love a song before he plays it for her. He laughs at her jokes before she ever gets to the punch line. There's a place on his chest, just below his throat, that makes her want to keep promises...Park.

Set over the course of one school year, this is the story of two star-crossed sixteen-year-olds—smart enough to know that first love almost never lasts, but brave and desperate enough to try.
My Review: I had a very good reading experience with this book. It was a very enjoyable read, it made me laugh and cry, sometimes at the same time. Rainbow did an excellent job of telling from both Park an…
